바리톤 김태한은 깊은 음악적 감성과 뛰어난 기량으로 국제 무대에서 주목받는 차세대 아티스트다. 서울대학교 음악대학을 수석으로 졸업한 후 국립오페라단 오페라 스튜디오에서 활동했고, 독일 베를린 한스 아이슬러 국립음악대학에서 전문적인 오페라 훈련을 이어갔다.
2023년, 만 22세에 퀸 엘리자베스 국제 콩쿠르 1위를 수상하며 역대 최연소 우승자 중 한 명으로 이름을 올렸으며, 같은 해 플라시도 도밍고 Operalia 롤렉스 청중상을 받으며 세계적 주목을 받았다. 이전에는 Neue Stimmen Brian Dickie Young Talent Award, Riccardo Zandonai 국제 콩쿠르, Tenor Viñas 콩쿠르 입상 등 국제 콩쿠르에서 두각을 나타냈다.
2023/24 시즌부터 베를린 슈타츠오퍼 운터 덴 린덴 오페라 스튜디오 소속으로 <라 트라비아타> 도비니 후작, <리골레토>의 마룰로, <루살카>의 사냥꾼, <나비부인>의 야마도리, <토스카>의 교도관 등 다양한 배역을 맡았으며, 마르크 앙드레 달바비 신작 <Melancholie des Widerstands> 세계 초연과 프랑크푸르트에서의 리트 리사이틀 무대에도 참여했다.
2025/26 시즌부터는 오퍼 프랑크푸르트 솔리스트로 활동하며 <코지 판 투테> 굴리엘모 역으로 하우스 데뷔를 치렀다. 콘서트 무대에서도 활발히 활동, KBS 교향악단 DMZ 오픈 페스티벌, 벨기에 Musiq’3 페스티벌, 룩셈부르크 필하모닉 갈라 콘서트, 브라질 5개 도시 투어 등에서 깊은 인상을 남겼다.
국내 무대에서도 성과를 이어가며 서울시오페라단 <라 보엠> 마르첼로, BBC Proms Korea Last Night of the Proms 폐막 공연, 베를린 필하모니 콘서트홀 자선 갈라 등에서 활약했으며, 2026년에는 금호아트홀 최초 성악가 상주음악가로 선정되었고 세아이운형문화재단 오페라 후원인재로 활동하며 국제 무대에서 성장을 이어가고 있다.
Baritone Taehan Kim
Baritone Tae-Han Kim is an emerging artist recognized for his profound musical sensitivity and exceptional technique on the international stage. He graduated summa cum laude from Seoul National University’s College of Music, trained at the Opera Studio of the Korea National Opera, and continued professional opera studies at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin.
In 2023, at age 22, Kim won First Prize at the Queen Elisabeth International Competition, becoming one of the youngest winners in its history, and the same year received the Rolex Audience Award at Placido Domingo’s Operalia, gaining global attention. He previously distinguished himself at international competitions, including the Brian Dickie Young Talent Award at Neue Stimmen, Riccardo Zandonai International Competition, and Tenor Viñas Competition.
From the 2023/24 season, he joined the Berlin Staatsoper Unter den Linden Opera Studio, performing roles including the Duke in La Traviata, Marullo in Rigoletto, Hunter in Rusalka, Yamadori in Madama Butterfly, and Prison Guard in Tosca. He participated in the world premiere of Marc-André Dalbavie’s Melancholie des Widerstands and appeared in a lieder recital in Frankfurt.
Starting in the 2025/26 season, Kim became a soloist at Oper Frankfurt, making his house debut as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte. He has also made a strong impression on the concert stage, performing with the KBS Symphony Orchestra at the DMZ Open Festival, at Belgium’s Musiq’3 Festival, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Gala, and a tour across five Brazilian cities.
Domestically, he debuted in Seoul Opera’s La Bohème as Marcello, appeared in the BBC Proms Korea Last Night of the Proms, and performed at the Berlin Philharmonie charity gala. In 2026, he became the first resident artist of vocalist at Kumho Art Hall, and he is supported by the SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation, continuing to expand his presence on the international stage.
