소프라노 이해원은 예원학교, 서울예술고등학교, 서울대학교 성악과를 졸업하고 독일 한스아이슬러 음악대학에서 석사과정을 마치며 탄탄한 음악적 기반을 다졌다. 어릴 적부터 음악적 감각과 재능을 보여준 그녀는 2010년 이대웅 음악 장학회 장학생으로 선발되며 뛰어난 잠재력을 인정받았다.
맑고 섬세한 음색과 감성적인 해석으로 관객과 평단의 사랑을 받아온 이해원은 2021년 이탈리아 로시니 오페라 페스티벌에서 <랭스로 가는 여행> 폴레빌 백작부인 역으로 유럽 무대에 데뷔하였으며, 이후 대구오페라하우스의 <마술피리> 파파게나 역, 대전예술의전당 김효근 아트팝 오페라 <안드로메다> 싱싱 역 등 다채로운 오페라 무대에서 활약했다. 얍 판 츠베덴 음악감독의 지휘 아래 서울시립교향악단과의 협연을 비롯하여 국립심포니오케스트라, 국립합창단 등과의 협연 뿐만 아니라 리사이틀 무대에서도 깊이 있는 음악성을 선보였으며, 특히 2019년 한국가곡만을 담은 앨범 <흔들리는 꽃>을 발매하며 한국 가곡 특유의 서정성과 정서를 현대적인 감각으로 재해석하여 큰 호평을 이끌었다.

Soprano Haewon Lee is emerging as one of the most promising talents in the classical music world, her artistry honed through a rigorous academic journey. A graduate of Korea’s prestigious Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and the Department of Vocal Music at Seoul National University, she later completed her master’s degree at Germany’s renowned Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, solidifying a strong musical foundation. From an early age, her innate musical sensibility and talent were widely recognized; in 2010, she was awarded a scholarship from the Daewoong Music Foundation, signaling her potential as a future star of the operatic stage.
Acclaimed for her pure, delicate timbre and emotionally rich interpretations, Haewon has captivated both audiences and critics. She made her European debut in 2021 at the Rossini Opera Festival in Italy, where she sang the role of the Contessa di Folleville in <Il viaggio a Reims>. Since then, she has appeared in various operatic productions, including Papagena in <Die Zauberflöte> at the Daegu Opera House and SingSing in Hyo-gun Kim’s art-pop opera <Andromeda> at the Daejeon Arts Center. Beyond the opera stage, She has appeared as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden, as well as with the Korean National Symphony Orchestra and the National Chorus of Korea, and has also presented recitals showcasing her refined musicality.
